I stayed at Parrots Hotel for four nights and it was the best value ever. The location is right on the street, so if you don't want to walk through dark corridors in your robes, make sure to request a rear room. The staff at El CID, which is a lower class hotel and cheaper, took great care of me, checked on me, and even went out to the market to get me needed items.
